MSP IT Support- Helpdesk- Remote /In Office Onsite Technician

Full-Time (Remote/Onsite )

Currently seeking an experienced IT Helpdesk Support technician . It is a permanent, full time position. We are looking for someone with superior people skills in addition to 3+ years of IT technical support experience; MSP-2 years .  Also this person should be proficient in Level 2 IT technical Support as indicated below. (PLEASE DO NOT APPLY IF YOU DO NOT MEET THE REQUIRED TECHNICAL AND MSP EXPERIENCE LISTED ABOVE)

Minimum Requirements

  • MS900 Certification or equivalent
  • Minimum IT experience- 4 years
  • Minimum MSP Experience- 2 years

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience with server administration (Windows, VMware)
  • Experience in Connectwise or other similar PSA
  • VoIP experience a plus
  • Mac experience a plus

You MUST possess documented proficiency in:

* Network Lan/Wan Configurations

* Basic Firewall fundamentals and NAT

* Troubleshoot Network configuration issues onsite and remotely

* Supporting Microsoft Server environments, Shares, Permissions

* Internet Explorer / Firefox /Chrome setup and troubleshooting

* Exchange Account Setup – Office365

* Able to work with ISP's and customers troubleshooting connectivity issues

* User Account -- Active Directory 2003/2008/2012 Management

* Microsoft Office 2003 -- 2013 Fundamentals (Setup/Troubleshooting/Basics)

* Printer/Scanner Troubleshooting and Setup, Multifunction SMB

*Attention to Detail – working with multiple clients and technologies. Documentation is a Key factor.

* Listen, comprehend and communicate well with clients and team members

* Highly self-motivated and capable of independent work when required.

* Well-organized with the ability to multi-task and work with minimal supervision.

* Prioritize and organize customer ticket workload.

* Must represent the company in a professional manner at all times.

Salary Range $40,000-$50,000
